SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Portable safe of vehicle consists of housing, door and lock. Metal crossbeam with fasteners is arranged on the body to be detached from the body and fixed therein. Crossbar extends beyond the safe housing and has length longer than one longest face of the safe. Method of installation of safe inside cabin or body of vehicle consists in the fact that said safe is used, at that parameters of length, width and height of safe, as well as lengths of metal crossbar are selected so that in any turn of assembled safe with fixed crossbar dimensions of this safe exceeds dimensions of opening of vehicle.

EFFECT: higher convenience of portable automotive safe transportation.
