FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system, an apparatus and a method for protecting a bucket edge for protecting a working edge of a bucket of a civil engineering machine or a mining machine. Protective device for protection of bucket edge comprises guide for receiving protective device, in which there is retaining slot, protective part for edge protection, insert. Protective part for edge protection can be put on guide, moving in direction along sliding axis, for installation in edge protection position, and in said protective part there is a hole, which in protection position is open to retaining slot. Insert is made with possibility of installation in the specified hole for its placement in the retaining groove in the protection position, to prevent possibility of the protective part shift relative to the guide, that is their fixation relative to each other. At that, the protective part contains at least one fixing stop located on the periphery of the hole. Protective device comprises a locking lock which is movable relative to the insert about a pivot axis between a first angular position in which the insert can be inserted into the opening and the insert can be removed from the opening, and second angular position, in which said lock rests against fixing stop, preventing possibility of insertion.

EFFECT: technical result is simplicity, reliability and fast installation of protective device on bucket.
