FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used to create a receiver of a radar system (RS) using a probing radio signal of a ground-based transmitter as a signal for illuminating aerial targets. Device for compensation of direct radar signal of radio transmitter in receiver of two-position radar system (RS), additionally introduced into ground receiver (RCR), synchronized with ground transmitter (TMR), consists of a shaper of a quadrature radar signal, an adder, a generator of a quadrature copy of the probing radar signal, a unit for estimating the weight coefficient, a multiplier, a matched filter connected in a certain manner. Besides, output of matched filter is connected to device of secondary processing of radar signal RCR. Device for compensation of direct radar signal of transmitter in receiver of two-position radar system provides allocation of weak radar signal scattered by air target, against background of powerful radar signal of direct propagation and allows estimating time of its delay relative to radar signal emitted by transmitter.

EFFECT: compensation of radar signal of direct propagation and allocation of radar signal scattered by air target.
