FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: application area of high-temperature rotary disk heat exchanger: heat power engineering, mainly for gas turbine plants, for example microturbines, mainly in hybrid power plant for generation of electric current. In the rotary disk heat exchanger, to prevent heat deformations of the heat exchanger frame, the heat exchange cells of the frame are made in the form of separate cups with external hexagonal surfaces and with internal channels and installed between end discs, with at least one point of rigid attachment on each disc. Gap between cups is selected from condition of possibility of their free expansion at maximum operating temperature, and discs are made of materials having different coefficients of temperature expansion, wherein the ratio of linear expansion coefficients is inversely proportional to the ratio of average operating temperature gains. Radial and circumferential seals of rotor on housing are labyrinth.
EFFECT: reduced possibility of air and gas leaks between air and gas circuits at their counterflow movement and elimination of their negative effect on the thermal condition of the frame.
