SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an image capturing device and accessories, each of which comprises a holder equipped with contacts, which provide electrical connection to the other device. Image capturing device on which a camera accessory comprising a first holder can be mounted comprises a second holder. Second holder is configured to provide a bayonet connection from the first mounting accessory of the camera. Second holder contains multiple contacts arranged in the circumferential direction and a contact holder configured to fix a plurality of contacts. Each of the plurality of contacts is electrically connected to the camera accessory terminal. Holder of contacts has a difference in height levels in the direction of the central axis of the second holder. Plurality of contacts includes a first contact which can be used to detect installation of an accessory on an image capturing device. First contact is located further in the installation direction of the accessory than the other contacts from the plurality of contacts at the first step of the contact holder.

EFFECT: technical result is preventing erroneous detection of camera accessory installation on image capturing device while eliminating reduction in reliability in terms of electrical connection.
