FIELD: turbines or turbomachines.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a turbine designed to operate on The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). Turbine includes shaft installed in at least two bearings, and multiple axial expansion stages specified by rows of stator blades, alternating with rows of rotor blades. Rotor blades are retained on corresponding support discs. Main support disc is directly connected to the shaft in the external position relative to the bearings, at that the rest support disks are fixed on the main support disc in series one after another, and not directly with the shaft. Proposed technical solution allows to obtain cantilever configuration of turbine with multiple stages, if necessary, even more than three. Turbine makes it possible to expand working fluid medium with sharp increase of enthalpy, by analogy with that obtained by means of traditional multistage axial turbines, which do not have cantilever configuration, or by means of two connected axial turbines, at invariable other conditions. Some of the other support discs are fixed on the main support disc and cantilever pass from the same side of bearings, in which the shaft is installed, so that the center of gravity of the rotor part of the turbine is further shifted to the bearings.
EFFECT: cantilever configuration according to the present invention enables to assemble and disassemble the turbine in a fairly simple manner, both at the design stage and during maintenance.
