SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for inverter control of inverter feeding motor from AC circuit. Method of operation of gate converter (10, 48, 50) for connection of electric machine (12, 46) with AC voltage network (16) made for operation at alternating voltage includes the following stages: determination of torque related current component of machine from electric currents of electric machine (12); recording actual value for magnetic flux; determining actual torque value of electrical machine (12, 46) by connecting detected magnetic flux to torque related current component of machine; determination of torque difference between actual value of machine torque and specified torque value of electric machine (12, 46); filtering torque difference by means of band-pass filter (28), which is tuned to natural frequency on machine side; determining compensating signal (30) by processing output signal (32) of band-pass filter (28); compensating signal (30) is applied to network control signal and / or machine control signal.

EFFECT: technical result is compensation of torque oscillations at natural frequencies of electric machine.
