SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to lamella (103) for a plate heat exchanger having an angular wave-like structure with wave crests (131) arranged parallel to each other, wherein wave crest (131) is connected through lateral side (132) of the wave to another wave crest (131) and wherein crest (131) of wave and lateral side (132) of the wave follow one after another in the first spatial direction (D1), and wherein wave crest (131) and lateral side (132) of the wave are connected to each other by means of sheet edge (134). Ridges (131) of wave have flat outer surface (135). According to the invention, the outer radius (R101) of sheet edges (134) ranges from 0.05 to 0.18 mm. Also disclosed is a method of making lamella (103), which includes a step of forming under pressure, on which previously made curved wave-like structure (3) has such a shape that outer radius (R1) of edges (134) of the sheet decreases (R101).
EFFECT: lamellae for plate heat exchanger and method of its production are disclosed.
