FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine, ophthalmology, and can be used for staging of wound process by polarography method at penetrating eye wounds in experiment. Values of polarography in the injured eye are determined. If the polarography in the injured eye is 10-5 mol/l and more, the condition is evaluated as an acute stage of the wound process. If the polarography in the injured eye is 10-6 mol/l or less, it is presented as a sub-acute stage of the wound process.
EFFECT: method provides simplifying and improving the efficiency of the wound stage determination by determining the polarography indices in the injured eye, which allows performing the abolition of antibiotics and sulphanilamides within the required time, reducing the epithelisation time and the treatment time.
