FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pipe forming device for forming a spiral pipe, a strip element and a pipe forming method. Tube forming device forms spiral pipe by connection of adjacent edges of strip element, differing by one turn, with each other at spiral winding of strip element. Pipe-forming device comprises frame of device arranged on section of pipe end part passing in direction along circumference in previous part of spiral pipe formed earlier of strip element. End part of pipe is provided on that side of previous part of spiral pipe, which is front in direction of length, passing along axis of pipe. Frame of the device has a longitudinal direction of movement passing along the direction of winding of the previous part of the spiral pipe. Drive part provided in device frame squeezes non-wounded subsequent strip part of strip element following after previous part of spiral pipe, in inclined direction relative to machine height direction, determined in device frame, to this section or zone nearby it on previous part of spiral pipe. Machine height direction extends along inward-outward direction of previous part of spiral pipe. Guide for the end of the pipe provided in that part of the frame of the device, which is located on the reverse side in the direction of the machine height, is retained relative to the end part of the pipe in the machine width direction, which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of movement and direction of the machine height. Guide for pipe end is brought into contact with possibility of its sliding relative to end part of pipe in longitudinal direction of movement. Extrusion force becomes connecting force for connection and pushing force for forward movement. Tube forming device performs formation of pipe in condition, in which part of end part of pipe, different from this section, is free from pipe-forming device.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device by eliminating the element limiting the inner periphery, adapting the device to pipes with a non-circular cross-section and smoothly moving the device forward.
