SUBSTANCE: object of invention is electric box (1) intended for installation through hole (101) made in wall (100), and comprising rear body (10), comprising side wall (11) of rigid material, centered along central axis (A1), and at least one latching lug (20) movable between the retracted position and the extended position in which it protrudes from the above mentioned side wall, and front flange (20) comprising shoulder (51) of a rigid material, which is directed outward, projecting relative of said side wall. According to the invention, the rear body and the front flange are made separately and are connected to each other by means of peripheral belt (80) of flexible material, which can be elastically deformed along the central axis (A1).
EFFECT: disclosed is an electrical box embedded in partitions of different thicknesses.
