THREE-COMPONENT DOWNHOLE SEISMIC SENSOR Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01V1/16 G01V1/18 G01V1/40

Abstract RU 2719625 C1

FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to seismometry, and can be used for seismic monitoring. Disclosed is a three-component downhole seismic sensor, having in a sealed housing with spring-loaded stabilizers, a jamming unit, a generator, first and second channels for receiving horizontal components of signals and a third channel for receiving a vertical signal component. Each channel includes a pendulum, a first amplifier, a calibrator, in-series connected capacitance displacement sensor, amplifier-demodulator, feedback unit and magnetoelectric transducer. In each channel, the pendulum is mechanically connected to a capacitive displacement sensor, a magnetoelectric transducer and a deterrence unit. Seismometer additionally comprises a microprocessor, a first digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), first, second and third analogue-to-digital converters (ADC), an azimuthal displacement sensor, connected in series to a second DAC and a first filter, series-connected third DAC and second filter, series-connected first adder and fourth ADC, in-series connected second adder and fifth ADC, first, second, third and fourth identical signal conversion channels. Each signal conversion channel includes a second amplifier, a multiplier and a first phase shifter, a functional converter, a second phase shifter and a third amplifier, connected in a certain manner and connected to adder, ADC and DAC. Functional converters of the first and third signal conversion channels realize the function cos x, and the functional converters of the second and fourth signal conversion channels realize the function sin x.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of change of azimuth orientation of three-component borehole seismometer directional diagrams after installation in well.
