FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as vehicle engines. Switched reluctance motor comprises an electronic control system, two toothed stators with phase windings on the teeth, two rotor gear packs fixed on the common shaft and shifted relative to each other by 45°, and a cooling system. Cooling system includes metal plates arranged on end surface of stators and tightly adjoining it, and also tubes arranged on plates for supply of cooling liquid, adjacent to windings of stator teeth.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of engine cooling, reduced weight.
