FIELD: food products packaging.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a multilayer structure with an extrusion coating, comprising: a sealing layer which contains: (a) a mixture comprising: (i) from 80 to 95 wt % of at least one ethylene and α-olefin interpolymer composition, which contains a homogeneously branched linear ethylene polymer composition and a heterogeneously branched linear ethylene polymer composition, wherein the ethylene polymer and the α-olefin is characterized as having density from 0.85 g/cm3 to 0.940 g/cm3, and (ii) from 5 to 20 wt % of at least one high-pressure ethylene polymer, characterized as having melt index I2 of less than 6.0 g/10 min, density of at least 0.916 g/cm3, ratio Mw/Mn of at least 7.0 and bimodal molecular weight distribution, determined by gel permeation chromatography, where mixture has melt index I2 from 1.0 to 20 g/10 min; and (b) a linear low-density polyethylene composition which contains at least two components selected from a group, consisting of homogeneously and heterogeneously branched linear ethylene polymers, wherein the composition has density from 0.86 to 0.940 g/cm3 and I2 of from 0.5 to 50 g/10 min, wherein the multilayer structure is coated with an extrusion coating density of sealant layer 8 to 30 g/m2. Multilayer structure further includes: layer of oriented polymer selected from a group consisting of oriented polyolefin, oriented PET and oriented polyamide; barrier layer; extrusion laminate; optionally a first primer material between the oriented polyolefin layer and the extrusion laminate; and optionally second primer material between the barrier layer and the coextruded sealing layer, and where the barrier layer adjoins the extrusion laminate. Method of producing a multilayer structure with an extrusion coating involves extrusion of a sealing layer on a laminate having at least two layers, where the sealing layer is present in amount of 8 to 30 g/m2.

EFFECT: production of multilayer laminate structures by means of extrusion coating, having good sealing properties, sufficient stickiness in heated condition, strength of connection and possibility of accelerated processing at vertical installation of molding, filling and sealing.
