FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for protection against contamination by combustion products of input windows of optical sensors, which are installed, in particular, in units of turbine or combustion chambers of gas-turbine or other air-jet engines. Device for protection against contamination of optical sensors in units of air-jet engines comprises sensor housing having inlet and rear parts, inside housing is installed optical sensor with lens, which is arranged in inlet part of housing with annular gap relative to it, wherein rear part has compressed air supply pipe from compressor, and inlet part is conjugated with flow part of engine, between which between lens and inlet part there is gate, made with possibility of movement by means of piston pneumatic actuator. Device is equipped with an axially symmetric multi-start auger, the annular gap is made in the form of an annular supersonic nozzle, before the critical section of which on the side of the rear part of the sensor housing there is an axially symmetric multi-start auger. One cavity of the piston pneumatic actuator is pneumatically connected to the flow part of the engine, and the cavity formed by the lens and the shutter in the closed position is interconnected with the air ejection channels and with the other cavity of the piston pneumatic actuator. Piston-type pneumatic actuator is arranged in the cavity of the cooling air duct communicated with the air ejection channel.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when implementing the proposed invention is an increase in the optical sensors protection efficiency during the engine operation, as well as during its start-up and shutdown.
