FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for hardening a coating from an RMA crosslinkable composition, which includes two or more different hardening mechanisms, in which said RMA-crosslinkable composition comprises at least one crosslinkable component, wherein at least one crosslinkable component contains reactive components A and B, each of which contains at least two reactive groups, wherein at least two reactive groups of component A are acidic protons (CH) in activated methylene or methine groups (RMA-donor group), and at least two reactive groups of component B are activated unsaturated groups (C=C) (RMA-acceptor group), wherein said reactive groups are capable of reacting with crosslinking through Michael addition (RMA) in presence of basic catalyst (C), wherein said method includes steps of: a) providing an RMA cross-linkable composition, b) applying a layer of said RMA-cross-linkable composition, c) curing said layer by crosswise RMA cross-linking, where the acidic protons (CH) in the activated methylene or methine groups react with activated unsaturated groups (C=C) through a Michael addition reaction (RMA) in the presence of a basic catalyst (C), d) using a second cross-linking reaction step before, during or after said crosswise RMA cross-linking, wherein two or more different solidification mechanisms include a) transverse RMA cross-linking in combination with a second cross-linking reaction of hydroxy groups in RMA-crosslinkable components with polyisocyanates or siloxanes, or b) crosswise RMA cross-linking in combination with a second cross-linking reaction with polyamines, with crosslinkable components containing component B and/or with epoxy groups in RMA-crosslinkable components, c) transverse RMA cross-linking in combination with a second crosslinking reaction based on autoxidation drying of unsaturated groups in RMA-crosslinkable components, or d) crosswise RMA cross-linking in combination with a second cross-linking reaction of reactive components B in RMA-crosslinkable components and/or optionally other radically crosslinkable polymer components, preferably by UV curing or by thermal curing, preferably using peroxy groups, or e) a combination thereof, said second cross-linking reaction step being carried out before, during or after RMA-curing. Invention also relates to RMA-crosslinkable resins suitable for use in said method.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of hardening an RMA-crosslinkable resin coating, RMA-crosslinkable compositions and resins for use in said method.
