FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor which attach CRC check bits at the transport block (TB) level to the TB, selecting a base schedule (BG) with the LDPC based on the coding rate (CR) and the size of the TB block, including the CRC check bits at the block level TB, determining the number of code units (CB) to be used for segmenting the TB, including the CRC check bits at the TB block level, depending on the selected BG with the LDPC, determining a single CB size for each of the CB units based on the number of CB units, segmenting the TB, including the CRC check bits at the TB block level, on the CB based on the number of CB units and the size of the CB block, adding zeros to the last CB of the CB blocks in the segmented TB, attaching the CRC check bits at the level of the CB block to each CB in the segmented TB, encoding each CB in segmented TB using the selected basic graphic with LDPC and transmitting encoded blocks CB.

EFFECT: technical result is providing segmentation of code block depending on selection of basic matrix LDPC.
