FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a miniature circuit breaker comprising a housing having an air outlet. In the arc-quenching chamber there is a lot of arc-extinguishing grids. Arc-extinguishing chamber is rigidly connected to the housing. An air outlet opening is made in the rear plate of the arc-quenching chamber. Between the air outlet of the arc-quenching chamber and the air outlet of the housing there is a rear arc-quenching structure. Rear arc-quenching structure includes a plurality of air channels located between the air outlet of the arc-quenching chamber and the air outlet of the housing so that high-temperature air flows from the arc-quenching chamber pass through the air vent and a plurality of air channels, after which they are discharged from the air outlet.
EFFECT: thus eliminating mutual interference of air flows flowing from grids of arc-quenching chamber, eliminating mutual interference of hot air flows near air vent holes, and provides for fast dissipation of heat energy, due to which fast damping of electric arc, increased efficiency of arc suppression of arc-quenching system and breaking capacity of switch, as well as reduction of the arc-quenching chamber volume.
