SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Stud pin comprises: housing 2, which is cylindrical and formed by edge 8a, at least one end of which in direction of central axis of which passes parallel to straight line perpendicular to central axis; and arched section 8b centred on central axis; and base 4 located at other end in direction of central axis of housing 2, wherein base 4 comprises linear section 9 extending parallel to edge 8a on outer periphery and is formed asymmetrically relative to transverse axis perpendicular to central axis. Edge 8a and linear section 9 are located perpendicular to direction of pneumatic tire circumference.
EFFECT: technical result is higher resistance to spinning from protector and improved adhesion of tire with road surface.
