SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a pump for washing water and steam generation and a dishwashing machine comprising a pump. Pump comprises a housing; washing water inlet pipe connected to washing water inlet housing; a washing water discharge pipe connected to the wash water discharge housing; impeller located in housing for discharge of washing water from pipe for inlet of washing water into pipe for discharge of washing water; a heater connected to the housing for washing water washing in the housing and generating steam; a steam outlet pipe for releasing steam generated by the heater; and a selector valve connected to the steam discharge pipe to block the washing water outlet and allow steam release thereby preventing the washing water outlet through the steam outlet pipe.
EFFECT: disclosed is pump for dishwashing machine.
