FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method of treating wounds and trophic ulcers. Method for treating wounds and trophic ulcers, consisting in the fact that for 8–15 days with the condition of daily single replacement for a wound or a trophic ulcer, applications are performed, impregnated with composition of 0.9 % oil solution of beta-carotene and 10 % oil extract of propolis in ratio of components of 10:1 respectively, wherein every 4–5 days and at the end of the therapeutic course, monitoring the presence of microflora in the wound or trophic ulcer by analyzing wound smears and the wound surface sample.
EFFECT: method described above provides a cure or prolonged remission in all phases of the wound process due to a combination of antibacterial, protective and regenerative properties of its components.
