SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of construction materials - filler of artificial porous, used as filler in preparation of light and silicate concrete, as well as fillings for heat insulation of roofs, walls, floors, floors of lower floors of buildings and structures for various purposes. Crude mixture for making artificial porous aggregate contains the following, wt. %: heat power plant slag 65–70, scrap glass 13–18, sodium tetraborate crystalline decahydrate 10, sodium liquid glass 4, glycerine 3.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of foaming temperature to 820–840 °C and duration of foaming to 15–18 minutes in production of artificial porous aggregate with improved technical and economic characteristics, recycling wastes.
