FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electromechanics and concerns a method for diagnosing switching condition of commutation electric machines. Method includes recording parameters of light pulses in sparking in the form of electric signals using photoelectric converter of visible radiation. Besides, electric signals from photoelectric converter of ultraviolet radiation are additionally registered. At that, registration of light pulses parameters at sparking is performed in time intervals corresponding to moments of electric signals appearance from photoelectric converter of ultraviolet radiation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of switching equipment of collector electric machines in conditions of light interference.
