FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to launching of unmanned aerial vehicles from carrier aircraft. Method of launching UAV on flight altitude flight comprises providing unmanned aerial vehicle with an accelerating propulsion system, a system for controlling its position in an autonomous flight, a payload, impulse reactive engines for generating a rotation pulse about a transverse axis passing through the center of gravity of the UAV, and compensation for said rotation pulse, with a braking parachute laid in the box. Carrier aircraft is flown to the height of the UAV compartment, its separation, stabilization of its position during braking with a stream of air with distance from the carrier aircraft to the safe distance, dropping the box and opening the parachute. At a given distance from the carrier aircraft, the parachute is dropped and the jet engine is engaged to create a rotation pulse around the transverse axis passing through the center of gravity of the UAV. When the specified pitch angle is reached, the accelerating propulsion unit is launched.
EFFECT: reduced mass of UAV and time of bringing to altitude flight path.
