FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to particle catching device (2) for gas turbine engine, wherein said particles are contained in air flow circulating inside gas turbine engine, in particular in air flow passing through bypass zone (17) of combustion chamber (13) of said gas turbine engine. According to the invention, disclosed device (2) comprises at least two particle reflectors (3, 3a, 3b, 3c), particles collection and storage element (5), deviated by said reflectors, and means (6) for fastening said trapping device (2) to parts of the gas turbine engine.
EFFECT: makes it possible to retain them or at least a large part of them before they kill holes made in walls of the combustion chamber; such catcher device does not change the air flow through the inner space of said gas turbine engine; improved compactness; providing temporary storage of entrapped particles, and then their removal during maintenance of gas turbine engine.
