SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Frame assembly for a vehicle comprises first and second frame elements comprising a wall and an axle. Wall of the first frame element has a groove passing through it and comprises a connecting part next to the groove. Wall of the second frame element comprises a projection and a connecting part next to the projection. Ledge passes through slot. Connecting part of the first frame element is connected to connecting part of the second frame element with formation of connection area. Axis of second frame element is located at non-zero angle relative to axis of first frame element in connection area. Ledge is made of one of straight, T-shaped and L-shaped forms. Method of assembly of frame assembly consists in the fact that ledge is inserted through slot and contact parts are connected to each other.

EFFECT: higher reliability of vehicle frame assembly.
