FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for increasing traction-coupling properties of a caterpillar band when driving on weak soils. Caterpillar band comprises tracks consisting of two links with grousers on support surface, in lugs of which two round rubberized pins are pressed. Tracks are interconnected in middle part by ridges and shoes, and by edges – by brackets with small grousers. Caterpillar band brackets on one side have slots, in which when putting on pins movable grousers are inserted, which open until it stops against small grousers of brackets at caterpillar band slipping.
EFFECT: higher traction-adhesion properties of caterpillar band when driving on weak soils while maintaining high level of its cleanability.
