FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, in particular to separating working elements of root-harvesting machines, mainly of cone-shaped roots. Disc-type separator comprises grate disc fitted on vertical shaft and provided with pins connected with shaft hub by means of hinges, peripheral grate and conveyor feed and root conveyors. Disk is provided with grate and is installed at the angle of rolling of soil and vegetal impurities to vertical and horizontal planes, its drive is made from hydraulic pump, combing spokes are made pile and are equipped with scraper. Peripheral annular grid guard is made of rubber material.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to reduce conic root crops root damage during separation, to improve quality of their cleaning from soil and vegetal impurities.
