FIELD: furniture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to convertible furniture articles, particularly, to transformer tables. Transformer table comprises a decorative body, a frame, a tabletop, a carriage, vertical guide carriages and a carriage drive in the form of a rack-and-pinion gearing with a geared motor. Guide carriages are fixed in opposite sides of the frame. Carriage is movably installed in guides. Toothed rack of drive is fixed in frame vertically between guides. Reduction motor with gear of rack gear transmission is installed in carriage. Worktop and the carriage are connected by means of a hinge joint. Support wall is articulated with the frame. Turning mechanism retains support wall during tabletop movement and retains support wall in inclined position with tabletop extended into horizontal position.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of conditions of people staying in public premises due to possibility of transformation of table into a closed curb.
