FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to blast-furnace production and can be used for cooling of the blast furnace surface. Device for water cooling of blast furnace zone containing water cooling pipes, levelling layer, bottom, graphite blocks arranged in two rows. At that, the first row of graphite blocks has channels for installation of water cooling pipes made by seamless metal from stainless steel installed above the bottom along the entire section of the subsurface space and placed in graphite blocks of the first row. Space around water cooling pipes is filled with filling concrete to level of height of graphite blocks of the first row, lower part of first row of graphite blocks is installed above levelling layer resting on upper part of bottom, and lower part of bottom is fixed through levelling layer with foundation. Second row of graphite blocks is arranged above the first row; at that, its upper part is level with the refractory lining of the blast furnace zone.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased resistance of the area, prolonged overhaul period and reduced consumption of refractory for production and repair of the area.
