SUBSTANCE: invention represents an aqueous composition with an inoculant for coating seeds, containing: from 35 to 65 % (by weight) of one or more maltodextrins with a dextrose equivalent value of about 15 to about 20; maltose and one or more strains of gram-negative bacteria, seeds of plants with a coating, comprising: a plant seed and a coating which covers at least part of the outer surface of said seed, wherein said coating contains a composition with an inoculant as per any of claims 1–13, a kit for storage or transportation of a composition with an inoculant or seeds of plants treated with a composition with an inoculant, involving: composition with an inoculant or a seed of coated plants and a container which contains said composition with an inoculant or a seed of coated plants, as well as a method of coating a plant seed, involving application of composition with inoculant as per any of claims 1–13 on seeds of plants.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing survival rate and/or stability of microorganisms in composition with inoculant.
