SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection against bites of blood-sucking arthropods and represents a means for protection against bites of flying blood-sucking insect-midges, containing essential oils of lavender, satin cedar, tea tree, cloves, clary sage, citronella, propylene glycol and/or glycerine, ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol at the following ratio of ingredients, wt. %: glycerine - 0.0–22.5 %, propylene glycol - 0.0–22.5 %, lavender essential oil - 0.1–2.5 %, essential oil of satin cedar - 0.1–2.5 %, essential oil of tea tree - 0.1–2.5 %, essential oil of cloves - 0.1–2.5 %, essential oil of clary sage - 0.1–2.5 %, essential oil of citronella - 0.1–2.5 %, ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol is the balance.
