FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical communication engineering and can be used to control a digital communication channel using quadrature amplitude shift keying for transmitting discrete messages. Device for monitoring digital communication channel comprises series-connected frequency meter of pseudo errors (12), address generator (13), memory unit (14), indicator (15), logic element (LE) 2OR (11), output of which is connected to input of frequency meter of pseudo errors, and inputs are respectively connected to outputs of pseudo-errors of in-phase (1) and quadrature (2) channels, each of which contains analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) (3, 4), signal input of which is input of pseudo errors detector and connected to corresponding output of quadrature detector, and the clock input is connected to the digital signal channel demodulator (DSC) clock synchronization unit output and the pseudo error frequency reference signal input, LE 3AND (5, 7) and 3OR-NOT (6, 8), inputs of which are connected to the outputs of three least significant digits of ADC, LE 2OR (9, 10), which inputs are respectively connected to outputs of 3AND and 3OR-NOT, and output is output of pseudo errors detector.
EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of monitoring digital communication channel when using in continuous channel signals with quadrature amplitude manipulation, as well as reduced complexity of technical implementation.
