SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to powder metallurgy. Pressing mould for bevel gearing with circular tooth comprises upper and lower half-dies folded together to form cavity corresponding to bevel gear shape with circular tooth, holder for semi-female dies fastening, upper and lower puncheons installed in upper and lower half-dies respectively. One part of the cavity in the upper half-matrix of the mould is made cylindrical for installation of the upper movable puncheon in it, and the other part of the cavity is of a conical shape corresponding to the shape of the surface of the toothed rim of the bevel pinion with the circular tooth. Cavity in lower half-matrix is made in cylindrical shape, part of which corresponds to shape of hub of bevel pinion, and in the other part movable lower punch is installed, made with a cylindrical cavity along its axis and equipped with a support, on which by one end a sign is fixed, made in the form of a cylindrical rod, installed in the cavity of the lower puncheon and having a free end in the form of a cone, wherein puncheons and cylindrical rod are located on same axis. Also disclosed is a method of pressing bevel gear with a circular tooth in a given mould.

EFFECT: enabling high-strength gear with cone angle of 5° up to 45°, as well as conic gear pressing with tangential, involute, curved tooth forms; wherein tooth rim density is uniform over tooth length and height and is not less than 7_2 g/cm³.
