FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to devices separating grains and other loose materials by ascending air flow, in particular to devices for separation of seeds into different-quality fractions by wind-loads, and can be used in cleaning of grain and seeds in agriculture and products of grain processing in flour-and-cereals and feed mill industry and other industries. Air classifier comprises loading device, in-series installed sections, each of which consists of vertical aspiration channel interconnected by upper part by means of air duct with precipitation chamber, which in lower part through tee-pipe is connected to middle part of vertical aspiration channel of next section, as well as an unloading aspiration channel located between the loading device and the vertical aspiration channel of the first section and interconnected in the upper part with the precipitation chamber of the last section by means of a horizontal air duct, covering with its lower wall the ceiling part of the intermediate channels with their chambers, fan communicated with suction opening via pneumatic collector with shutters with section precipitation chambers. Last section precipitation chamber is equipped in the lower part with the outlet device. Between the vertical aspiration channel of the last section and the precipitation chamber of the previous section, a discharge precipitation chamber is installed, which in lower outlet part via tee-pipe is interconnected with middle part of vertical aspiration channel of last section, and in upper part on inlet side through section of horizontal air duct is communicated with unloading aspiration channel, and from opposite outlet side through section of horizontal air duct is communicated with precipitation chamber of last section, which cavity is connected to suction opening of separate fan via branch pipe with gate. Volume of the cavity of the precipitation chamber of the last section is greater than the volume of the cavity of the discharge precipitation chamber. Horizontal air duct connecting the discharge aspiration channel with the precipitation chamber of the last section as well as the air duct communicating the vertical aspiration channel of the last section with its precipitation chamber are equipped with individual shutters. Precipitation chamber of previous section in lower part is equipped with outlet device.

EFFECT: high quality of separating biologically most valuable seeds in initial sections, high quality of cleaning seeds from air-separated impurities, as well as low environmental pollution.
