FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for automatic control of active information protection means, in which continuous monitoring of the level of confidentiality of a session of an object of computer equipment is carried out with timely inclusion of an active protection means, or its disconnection during operation in a session with a level of confidentiality which does not have limitations in terms of protecting information, wherein activation and deactivation of active protection means depending on confidentiality level of computer object session are performed automatically by software and hardware means, wherein when switching on a computer equipment session with a confidentiality level not having limitations in information protection part, starting the software from the hardware and software, generating, as per the program timer, a control signal supplied to the control unit controller input from the software and hardware, which also by built-in timer sends command to control element, removing supply voltage from active information protection means, when switching on computer equipment session with level of confidentiality, having limitations in part of information protection, operation of the software is terminated, while maintaining the supply circuit of the active protection means in the closed state using the control element.

EFFECT: design of a method for automatic control of an active protection system, which enables to limit the time of operation of an active protection means without reducing the level of security of information processed on a computer equipment object.
