FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to helicopter propellers screws. Design is presented in two embodiments, according to the first one, a propeller blade having a sweep tip is equipped with an insert located between the blade and the tip. Upper surfaces of the insert and blade form an angle between them (most optimally 160–178°), the rib of which is located at an acute angle (most optimally 70–88°) to the leading edge of the blade, and the lower surfaces of the insert and the tip form an angle equal to the angle between the upper surfaces of the blade and the insert. Area of upper surface of insert does not exceed area of upper surface of tip. According to the second embodiment, the insert is turned to the opposite side in comparison with the first embodiment and forms an obtuse angle with the leading edge of the blade.

EFFECT: providing uniformity of load on end part of blade, reducing dynamic, bending loads and torsional vibrations, increasing overall efficiency of propeller.
