SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container with a hinged cover for consumer goods, comprising a box, a cover pivotally connected to the box along a hinged line extending across the rear wall of the container, and located inside the box resealable package for placement of consumer goods in it, comprising a closing part, having the possibility of partial separation from the rest of the package to provide an access opening, and a reclosable adhesive label lying over the closing part. Label comprises at least a lower layer and an upper layer. Lower layer comprises cut section extending at least around periphery of closing part and attached to package by permanent adhesive applied on first area of inner surface of lower layer, passing around periphery of closing part. Upper layer is at least partially attached without possibility of separation to package using first adhesive applied on rear hinged area of package, and it is at least partially attached with possibility of separation to lower layer by means of second adhesive applied on tear-off area of inner surface of upper layer, extending farther from hinge region, and at least on section of closing part.

EFFECT: thus enabling possibility of upper layer movement between closed position, in which upper layer lies above cut section of lower layer, and open position, in which upper layer is raised above lower layer; in addition, the height of the lower layer is less than the height of the upper layer, and/or the width of the lower layer is less than the width of the upper layer; thus, detachable area of inner surface of upper layer passes at least partially beyond periphery of lower layer to lie above package.
