FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to stator windings of three-phase alternating current electrical machines, and can be used in their design. Three-phase 12-zone two-layer alternator winding machine stator winding with number of slots per each pair of poles equal to 24 (z/p = 24), consists of two three-phase windings shifted by 30 electric degrees, one of which is connected by star circuit, the other one is triangle circuit. Number of turns in phases of star wphY and phases of triangle wphΔ satisfies the equality and sections of winding wires (Sw): . In order to attenuate the higher spatial harmonics in the MDS, each coil group consists of 4 coils with a different number of turns such that they form a certain fraction of the entire area of the slot occupied by the windings: 1 coil - 0.25; 2 coil - 0.75; 3 coil - 0.75; 4 coil - 0.25.

EFFECT: technical result is weakening of higher spatial harmonics.
