FIELD: transportation; control devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for controlling amount of fuel in tanks of military tracked vehicles (MTV) during their long-term storage (LS). Automated system of fuel quantity monitoring in MTV tanks of long-term storage includes standard fuel meter with fuel meter sensors. In addition, a control cable is installed, which is connected by means of an electric line to the information processing and command issuing unit, power supply source and control panel, wherein the control cable is mounted in the fuel supply connection circuit to the MTV onboard network and is outside the sealed volume limits, wherein the electronic information system has the possibility of memorizing the readings and comparing them with subsequent measurements in order to quantify the leakage of fuel from the fuel tanks MTV, and also has the possibility of protecting this information from correction in operating conditions.

EFFECT: systematic monitoring of the amount of fuel in MTV tanks contained in the LS, outputting signals to the system for signaling critical values of the difference in the amount of fuel in the tanks when the fuel leak during storage of MTV and protecting information from correction.
