FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive equipment, namely to devices initiating and transmitting detonation to explosive charge of detonation object by condition and with limitation of access to initiation point. Disclosed are two versions of ring detonation initiator. First version of design of the ring detonation initiator at the stage of preparation of the detonation object to the explosion provides protection against unmasking and opening of the point of initiation of the detonation object with no detachable pad. After the pad is installed, initiation of the blasting object with a conventional universal reusable initiation system is provided. In compliance with non-simultaneous initiation of detonators, second version of annular detonation initiator provides masking of point of initiation of detonation object even in presence of detachable pad. Initiation of the firing object is provided by an initiation system with a delay line between firing lines of detonators.
EFFECT: technical result is providing protection of blasting object from unauthorized detonation when trying to initiate available ES surfaces; protection is ensured by camouflage of initiation point and initiator design made as non-segregated when accessing it from outside of firing object.
