FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to separation of solid and liquid phases. Filter-press comprises filter plate, reservoir for filtered material and reservoir for filtrate. Filter plate has feed opening and first and second drain holes. Material reservoir is communicated with feed opening through feed pipe, first drain hole is communicated with filtrate tank through first drain pipe, and second drain hole is communicated with filtrate tank through second drain pipe. First drain pipe is equipped with drain switch to control its opening and closing. Feed pipe has a power switch to control its opening and closing. There is a flushing device for introducing flushing water into the first drain hole so that it can escape from the second drain hole into the filtrate tank after passing through the filtering plate.

EFFECT: due to counterflow washing of filtration residue, its purity is increased and filtrate extraction degree is increased.
