SUBSTANCE: absorbent article of the present invention includes leakproof sheet (13) and an outer coating nonwoven material (18), which closes non-skin-facing surface of sheet (13), which protects from leakage. Leakproofing sheet (13) and the outer coating nonwoven material (18) are connected together by means of an adhesive which is arranged in the form of strips. Outer coating nonwoven material (18) has multiple parts (3) fastened by fusion. Plurality of fusion-bonded parts (3) are located with an arrangement circuit in which a plurality of types of virtual circles, each of which relates to plurality of parts (3), fixed by fusion, and which have different diameters, can be located with repetition, without overlapping each other. Diameter of large virtual circles (4a), which have the largest diameter among multiple types of virtual circles, is equal to or greater than the length of the pitch of placement of the adhesive.
