SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biocides, namely to chemical means of protecting various construction materials used in finishing works, from damage by microscopic fungi and bacteria and from development of moulds on the surface of materials. To ensure high fungicidal and bacteriostatic effect of construction materials, it is proposed to use a disinfectant containing the following components (wt. %): polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride - 3–5; colloidal silver - 0.04–0.06; light water depleted with deuterium (ppm 50), - 15–25; water is balance.

EFFECT: invention provides a water-soluble non-toxic preparation having high fungicidal activity and bacteriostatic effect.
