SUBSTANCE: invention relates to herbicidal compositions. Liquid herbicidal composition free from alkyl polyglucoside contains: from 10 to 30 weight percent of total weight of the herbicidal composition of glufosinate or its salt; from 20 to 30 weight percent of total weight of herbicidal composition of alkyl ether sulphate or its salt, where said alkyl ether sulphate corresponds to average formula (I): R-(OCH2CH2)n-OSO3 (I), where R is a linear or branched alkyl group having 8–18 carbon atoms, and where index n varies from 1 to 10; from 1.0 to 10 weight percent of total weight of hydrotropic herbicidal composition; from 0.1 to 3.0 weight percent of the total weight of the polycarboxylate herbicidal composition containing a (meth)acrylic acid polymer, (meth)acrylic acid and maleic acid copolymer, copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and maleic anhydride or copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and maleic acid and maleic anhydride, having weight-average molecular weight from greater than or equal to 1000 g/mol to less than 70,000 g/mol; from 0.1 to 18 weight percent of the total weight of the herbicidal composition of at least one glycol and from 10 to 60 weight percent of the total weight of the herbicidal composition of water.

EFFECT: disclosed herbicidal composition has high storage stability, low foam level, lower viscosity while maintaining high herbicidal properties.
