FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cleaning liquid from the sand, namely to industrial plants for purifying large volumes of water supplied to the injection into the formation in the oil fields, with typical cost of treated water up to 1,000 m3/day. Sand separation device comprises series-installed pump 1, hydrocyclone 2, with two outputs: outlet 3 for sand-cleaned liquid and outlet 4 for sand-enriched liquid, at that outlet for sand purified from sand is connected to filter 5, wherein before pump 1 there is reservoir 6 with volume of not less than 1,000 m3, liquid inlet with sand of which is connected by pipeline 8 to hydro cyclone outlet for sand-enriched liquid 4, note here that said filter branch pipe 7 is communicated via additional pipeline 9 with fluid inlet with reservoir 6 sand.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of separation of liquid from fine impurities and to decrease operating costs associated with installation of service even in cases of high solids content in the fluid (at level of 100 g/m3) and large amounts of liquid to be treated (more than 1,000 m3/day).
