FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid fuel furnaces intended for installation in baths and saunas for heating and maintaining required temperature and humidity in a steam room. Bath furnace contains a furnace unit, an ash pan, a grate and an internal heater, which is located in its housing above the furnace unit, and in the upper part of the heater housing there is a smoke outlet branch pipe. Firing unit consists of two half-cases - front and rear. Heater body is configured to rotate through 360° relative to the furnace assembly, preferably with pitch of 90°, and also consists of two semi-casing front and rear. At that, on padding surfaces of half-cases of furnace unit and half-cases of heater there are pockets or slots, in which refractory cord is laid. Heater body is connected to the furnace unit housing. Walls of cast iron elements are made of grey or high-strength cast iron and have thickness of 8 to 20 mm with tolerance of ±1 mm depending on temperature load on each element, and walls have thickness of 20 mm in places where stiffness ribs are available.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of furnace reliability, uniform heating of item, higher heat release, possibility to adjust heat transfer of furnace.
