FIELD: agriculture; chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to preparations of microcapsules with nucleus containing dicamba salts. Microcapsules contain a shell and a core, where the capsule shell contains a polyester, and the core contains, and at least 10 wt % of water, based on total weight of capsule core, where the capsule core contains a water-soluble dicamba salt selected from the sodium salt of dicamba and ammonium salts of dicamba, where the dicamba salt has solubility in water of at least 10 g/l at 25 °C. Invention also discloses a method of producing said microcapsules and a method of using microcapsules for controlling undesirable vegetation, and use of microcapsules to reduce volatilization or leaching of dicamba salts.

EFFECT: present invention provides reducing the risks associated with human health when spraying a tank mixture of microcapsules, reduced organic solvents in the preparation of microcapsules, biodegradability of the main microcapsule compounds, high efficiency of microcapsules, associated with reduced volatility and leaching of compounds of the nucleus of microcapsules, namely dicamba salts.
