SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a steeplejack's harness. Harness comprises belt and two thigh straps connected by strap. Steeplejack's harness comprises a front suspension point containing a connector attached to the front part of the belt. Connector comprises a rod of longitudinal axis AA, mechanically connecting connector to belt, first part, containing connecting ring and installed with possibility of rotation around rod relative to belt, C-shaped second part, installed with possibility of rotation around the second axis of explosive, which is parallel to axis AA, which defines closed circuit with axis of explosive. First part and the second part can be separated from each other so that at least one device for rope movement can be inserted into the C-shaped second part. Invention also relates to a method of installing a connector on such strapping and to a method of using the connector on such strapping.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the strapping structure.
