SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable transport facility. Cable installation comprises at least one bearing rope (11) supported by support units (18) arranged in terminals (12, 13), and means for reinforcement of bearing rope (11) for periodical updating of surface, which is in direct contact with support blocks (18). At that, means for reinforcement of bearing rope (11) are made with possibility of supporting rope (11) rotation about its axis by means of angular change of contact area in accordance with profile of bearing groove (21) of support blocks (18).
EFFECT: as a result, a cable transport installation is created, for which during reinstallation of the bearing rope any safety factor of the cable is not required.
